Paul Banning 1934 – 2021

Paul Banning was a British painter of landscapes, marine and city life. He loved to paint en plein air and worked from his studio in Hampshire. Paul painted and exhibited his work all over the world.

In 2011, Paul was awarded the Turner Watercolour Award Bronze Medal for an outstanding group of paintings.

Since Paul’s death in 2021, his family have managed his website and online shop. Paul was a prolific painter with a love of life which he brought to his work as a painter and teacher. He leaves a large body of work some of which can be viewed via his shop page. You will find oils and watercolours for sale at significantly reduced prices. Previously unseen watercolour paintings have also recently been added to the shop and purchasing is quick and easy.
